The first school was a log cabin which opened in 1864. The principal of the day was Alexander Muir who wrote the song, "The Maple Leaf For Ever". We still value our history and traditions today.
Our school has established strong relationships with various partners in our community such as Woodgreen Daycare and Eastview Boys and Girls Club for childcare, and the Indonesian Consulate, where our children regularly study and perform gamelan music.
Our students are leaders in the eco school movement and it is our goal to reach Gold level this year.
