Join the Council: Help us make strategic decisions to benefit our community.
- Nominate yourself for an Executive position
- Raise your hand for a Non-Executive position
- Become the “Class Parent” for your student’s class to share information and get to know your student’s teacher
- Join a Committee to help plan events, discuss longer term school improvement, plan grade 6 graduation or be part of our garden initiative

Attend Council Meetings
- Learn about issues such as budgets, staffing, curriculum, student achievement, special events, initiatives and fundraising.
- Play an important role in the flow of information between the School Board and the school community.
- Influence and make decisions that affect our students and the programs in our schools.
- Become a bigger part of the Leslieville family and get a behind-the-scenes look at our school and the Board.
Volunteer: Give time to support our activities and events.
- Whether it's regularly (consider heading up a sub committee), or even at just one event, your help is valued and needed.
